01

Atspindys Afternoons take place on Thursdays from 14:00 to 19:00 at LAIKO TERPĖ in Kaunas Old Town. Each afternoon follows a clear schedule of lunch, outdoor movement, creative and team tasks, the mirror room, documentary material and conversation.

Children practise making agreements, acting independently, listening to others and putting into words what they learned, understood and could apply elsewhere.

AT A GLANCE

Five hours,
five different rhythms

The programme may vary slightly depending on the day’s theme, the group and the weather.

  1. Arrival, introductions and lunch

We get to know one another, explain the day and activity format, name expectations and agree shared rules before walking to lunch together.

  2. Time outdoors: Santaka Park

A walk to Santaka Park, active movement and games in suitable park areas. If the weather is unsuitable, an alternative activity takes place in the studio.

  3. Experiential and team activities

Exploratory, creative and collaborative tasks in the studio or the Old Town.

  4. The day’s experience and the Atspindys Room

Exploring reflections, light and the senses in small groups.

  5. Documentary, conversation and review

We watch a selected excerpt and discuss what happened, how the experience compared with expectations, what we understood and where we could apply it.

ATSPINDYS ROOM

Light, mirrors
and a shifting perspective

ATSPINDYS is a mirror room of light, reflections and changing installations. Children enter in small groups to observe reflections, explore their senses and notice how changing their viewpoint changes what they see.

Installations may change: from lights, projections and mirrors to arrangements of safe LED candles whose warm, flickering glow evokes a living flame.

A calm and safe experience, supervised by the facilitator and guided by shared agreements.
